Worst Video Since Tip-Drill

Ya'll I'm not even one of those feminist, vagina monologue, herstory type women, but this video utterly disturbed me! lol Let me tell you all what I was picturing it would look like. Maybe I am just a hopeless romantic, but I thought maybe Drake and some video girl would be kicking it all day like a picnic in the park, laughing, hugging, a couple of nice dates, just them showing each other love, I don't know if you all can picture what I am saying, but that's how I imagined the video would be. I understand the song is talking about she is the best he ever had, sexually, but I was picturing more of a "Best All Around" type video, like they were made for each other because they made each other happy. Clearly director, Kanye West did not see it the same way, take a look:



I think this video is SO Misogynistic. Breasts just flying and sagging everywhere, and don't get me started on the end, they could have at least won the game and it would have looked like they were the best at SOMETHING. Maybe I am blowing it out of proportion, because I had such a different idea, and outlook on how the video should be. I still like the song, and Drake, but guys just tell me what you all think.....

    Don't get me wrong...I was highly disappointed with this video as well. Drake AND Kanye (who directed this) both know better and need to do better.

    But I wouldn't say this was the most misogynistic video since tip drill. Mainly because when you said that I thought of "Freaky Girl" by Gucci Mane. Now THAT was bad.

    Still, not quite tasteful. Especially when so many were expecting so much more.

    I agree. Gucci Mane is in a category of his own, there is no hope for him. I just expected more class coming from Drake and especially Kanye, I also expected more creativity. Thanks for the comment! ♥

Hi all,     So I know I haven't posted in a while, but a lot has been going on in my life to prevent me from doing leisurely activities such as creating blog posts. I know the last post I made was for Valentine's day and that was  like 3 months ago so just a bit has changed since then. As I stated in my previous blog it seems like many times I am on the giving end instead of the receiving end of many situations, as I also said many people are in this world doing and living for themseleves seeing what they can get out of the next man, or what the next person can do for them. Don't Force Upon Yourself More Than You Can Bear

I am currently sitting at my THIRD job, with my morning coffee, hair askew, and trying to hold my eyes open. Why are you so tired? I know that's what you're thinking, but let me tell you my schedule for today: 10:30p Bedtime 04:00a -08:00a DA at the desk in my apartment building 08:00a-11:00a Receptionist at the front desk of the BCC 11:45a-03:00p Class 03:15p-5:00p work I have just started this schedule this week and I already feel like it is taking a toll on me. I am not sure I will be able to continue to work all these shifts as well as go to class. My question is: Is it worth it? Should I quit atleast one of my jobs? What do you guys think? If I neglect to post a blog for a long time you all know why! And for those of you who do not comment but do read my blogs, I WOULD like to know your opinion, and instead of just telling me TYPE it, others might need the advice too!
